BENDLE: The Tigers ran at the first Genesee Area Conference Jamboree on Tuesday where the boys’ team took sixth with 181. Corunna was first with 32, Lake Fenton second with 35 and Goodrich third with 64.

Eric Reiman finished 41st in 21:15.63. DeQuarius Jones-Burt was 45th in 21:33.26. Casey Wilkinson ran a 23:50.27 to take 66th. In 70th was Ben Voorheis in 24:24.01 and Jayden Compton was 76th in 26:50.7.

Brianna Haubenstricker was the only Lady Tiger to run, finishing 35th in 30:24.6.

Bendle was at the Genesee Invite on Saturday, where the boys finished 12th with 309 out of 13 teams. Flint Powers was first with 37, Clio second with 61 and Montrose third with 98.

Seyoum May paced the Tigers, taking 62nd in 20:08.48. Jones-Burt was 72nd in 20:27.92. Rieman finished in 20:46.25 to take 77th. Wesley Kimball was 97th in 22:10.79 and Wilkinson was 102nd in 22:30.81. Compton ran a 23:42.38 to take 108th and Voorheis was 109th in 23:51.72.

The Bendle girls only had two runners competing. Haubenstricker was 21st in 29:20.81 and Madison Woods was 23rd in 38.41.75.

Bendle is at the 51st Annual Holly/ Duanne Raffin Festival of Races on Saturday at Springfield Oaks County Park. – K.R.

KEARSLEY: The Hornets finished 10th with a 243 at the Genesee Invite Saturday. Flint Powers Catholic was first with 37, Clio second with 61 and Montrose third with 98.

Raydoffa Braziel finished 20th in 18:10.65 to lead Kearsley. Bailey Palmer finished 37th in 19:00.59, Justice Sutcliffe 66th in 20:14.01, Josh Bischoff 79th in 20:51.84, Tristan Sutcliffe 111th in 23:53.99 and Mario Wells 120th in 24:36.08.

Last Wednesday, the Hornets finished ninth with 246 at the first Flint Metro League Jamboree of the season. Fenton was first with 30, Holly second with 81 and Linden third with 104.

Braziel led the Hornets, finishing 29th in 19:04.19. Palmer was 48th in 20:01.56, Justice Sutcliffe 65th in 21:23.77 and Bischoff 72nd in 23:29.12. Wells placed 78th in 26:20.31 and Rylee LoRee was 79th in 26:30.37.

Kearsley is at the 34th Annual Chesaning Cross-Country Invite today. – A.V.

KEARSLEY: The Hornets finished 13th at the Davison Invite on Monday with a 460. Emma Bishofff led the team with an 88, Brooklyn Smith shot a 114 and Allyson Sizemore and Chiny Miles each recorded a 129.

The Hornets lost a Metro matchup at the Flint Elks Club last Thursday to Holly, 209-235. Bishoff carded a 49 for Kearsley while Miles shot a 57. – B.P.
